SIX Primers received The President's Award, the most prestigious award of The Boys' Brigade (BB), from President S. R. Nathan at the Istana on July 10, 2007.
The President's Award represents the epitome of the Primers' training in The Boys' Brigade in Singapore. The highest award of the BB, it is presented to the top percentile from the BB Primers Programme.

This is the third time that the President's Award has been conferred on the Primers.

The award is only given to Primers who had completed the demanding requirements in leadership and service in the community, which would have spanned an average of at least six years.

One of the recipients, Ethan Koh Yi-Peng, had served in the BB as a coach for his juniors in the national Adventure Quest competition as well as in Barker Road Methodist Church as part of the missions team to India in 2004 and a coach for the soccer ministry in 2006.
