welcomes S’pore students

PERTH Immanuel Methodist Church in Perth is extending its invitation to migrants and students, particularly from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan to worship with its members.

The church conducts three Sunday worship services – one in Mandarin at 8.45 am, and two in English, at 11 am and 5 pm.

It also runs a Sunday School and conducts other church activities.

Nanjing Union
seminary names new head

NANJING – The Rev Gao Feng, President of the China Christian Council and Shandong Theological Seminary, has been named the new President of Nanjing Union Theological Seminary and one of two chairmen of its board of directors.

In 1991, he received scholarship assistance through the council and the United Methodist Board of Global Ministries to study for a Master of Divinity degree at the United-Methodist related St Paul School of Theology in Kansas City. – United Methodist News Service.
