Friday Prayers

STAFF of the Methodist Centre held their first Friday Prayers on Feb 7, 2003 at the Sophia Blackmore Hall on the sixth floor. The Holy Communion was served.


The prayers are held every Friday from 12.45 pm to 1 pm in addition to the monthly Chapel service on the last Monday of the month.

Bishop Dr Robert Solomon said the Friday Prayers would help to "remind us to put God in the centre of all that we do and to be aware of His presence at our work place. It will give staff an opportunity to pray and reflect in the midst of work".


The Rev George Martzen, Minister Attached to the Bishop's Office, and the Rev Goh Aik Hiang, Chaplain of Bethany Methodist Nursing Home and District Superintendent (City-West) of the Chinese Annual Conference, are in charge of the Friday Prayers.
