Long Service Awards for Methodist Church

THE Methodist Preschools’ Network held its Get-Together Fellowship at the Methodist Centre on Oct 19, 2007 at which Long Service Awards were given out.

The Methodist Preschools’ Network comprises the early educators of the Methodist Church Kindergartens and Child Care Centres.

Mrs Tang Poh Kim, the Education Secretary, gave the welcome address.

A total of 214 people were present and 23 staff members received their Long Service Awards.

The longest serving staff was Ms Han Wee Lan of Ang Mo Kio Methodist Church Kindergarten, who had served 35 years. 

Awards were given to those who had served 10 years and above in multiples of five years.

Bishop Dr Robert Solomon presented the awards.
