Retreat to focus on
relationship
with God

A TRAINING consultant from England, Mr Tony Horsfall, is to conduct a retreat and a seminar here this month.

He specialises in leading retreats and Quiet Days. He formerly served with the OMF in East Malaysia and is an elder in his local church in Yorkshire.

The retreat, "Song of the Shepherd - Meeting the God of Grace in Psalm 23", will be held at St Francis Xavier Major Seminary at Ponggol 17th Avenue on Aug 13 and 14, 2003. It is organised by the Board of Worship and Music of Trinity Annual Conference (TRAC).

It will examine some of the key issues in discipleship and spiritual formation - learning to rest in God, trusting Him during the difficult times in life, and learning how to live from God's resources and not our own.

The cost is $150 (single air-con room and meals) and $105 (single non-air-con room and meals).

The workshop, "Rhythms of Grace - Working with God, not for God", covers topics like "Beating Burnout", "Working from a place of rest", "Bearing fruit the easy way" and "To run and not grow weary". It provides a powerful series on how to live and work effectively.

It will be held at Wesley Methodist Church on Aug 15 and 16 from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm and Aug 16 from 3 pm to 9.30 pm.
The cost is $10 for both days or $5 per session. Registration forms for the events are available from Nancy at the TRAC office, tel: 6478-4742.
