Plan to start international church in Vietnam

THE Methodist Missions Society (MMS) is applying to the Vietnamese Government for a licence to operate an International Church for expatriates, and negotiating with a church to hold its services.

The MMS seeks your prayers for direction and success in this endeavour.

IT also seeks your prayers for:

·         THE Vietnam Methodist Church and its Pastor, the Rev Duc, as he oversees a flock of more than 6,000 members;

·         GOD’s anointing, wisdom and grace to be upon the Rev Duc as he shepherds his flock and makes executive decisions for the church;

·         HEALING of the Rev Duc’s battered health after years of persecution and exhausting labour in ministry;

·         GOD to oversee the necessary training that the Rev Duc and his team require, and for volunteers to heed the call to stand in the gap;

·         GOD’S timing and His will to be done as the leaders apply for the official licence to be a government-recognised entity;

·         THE Social Ministry in 15 May School, Hope Paediatric Oncology Ward and Govap Centre (Disabled Children);

·         CHRIST’S love to be manifested through the lives of visitors and volunteers from our Singapore churches to these places;

·         FAITHFULNESS of our people to the task that God has called them to do there, and to do what they see God is doing; and

·         MR ALBERT LOW that he may have a closer and more intimate walk with the Lord, and wisdom to advise the MMS Home team in making executive decisions for the Field.
